Hosted by Anna and Serena, I just became aware of this challenge today. The challenge started on 1/1/2009 and runs through the end of the year. Since I have read a few WWII books already in 2009, Anna suggested I sign up. Thanks Anna
Here are my (5) choices (subject to change):
- The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet; Ford- 4.5/5
- The Boy in the Striped Pajamas; Boyne-5/5
- Day After Night; Anita Diamant - 4/5
- Climbing the Stairs; Venkatraman
- Picking Bones from Ash; Mockett - 4.5/5
I'm participating in this one too. I plan to read a couple of the ones on your list also.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're joining in Diane. I'm reading a couple of yours too although I am very behind on this challenge to date.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're joining in on this one! I hope to read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas this year too. The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet isn't on my challenge list, but I will be reading it this summer so might as well count it towards the challenge. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you on board! I've added you to the participants page on the challenge site. Feel free to email us at warthroughgeneration at gmail dot com when you post reviews. We'll post an excerpt on the challenge blog. Thanks for signing up!
